Dsc00314 Now retired and in my 62nd year you might think I'd want to sit back, relax, and grow old gracefully.  Well, b******s to that!  I've decided life is too short and now is the time for some serious fun and adventure.  I'm really excited about spending 3 weeks driving through Africa with Rachael.  Hopefully we'll have a few days partying along the way, won't get blown up by landmines in Mauritania or lost in the Sahara.

Hurray!!!....Four weeks away from that curse which is work.  Hopefully long enough to make the trip from the UK to The Gambia, have some fun on the way, and top up the tan for a week when we get there.   I'm going along as someone has to look after my dad, and stop him getting lost, getting p****d, and making a fool of himself.  Only joking dad,  you'll be doing that for me!!
